Sweet looking! Plasti coat can take care of the Chrome grill if need be. So when do you get to take it home?

Freakin love it!

Nice choice. I would have had narrowed it down to the same two you did. Most likely would have made the same choice.

I want a clean tune. I am after mileage and long life. I plan to actually keep this one, so issues with Urea pumps is something I would just rather not deal with.

We have come a long way with our SCR 1 box systems in heavy duty, and they are actually reliable. We just now started getting into the off highway SCR product.

I will decide if I am going to ditch it. Just want something clean

I would recommend a EFI Live tune then. Normally, a deleted tune is like 10-20hp over stock and will give you the best mileage. You should look into a tune with the 5 position switch, it cost a little more up front but you won't have to reflash your truck every time you want to change your tune. I do feel you will want more than just a reliable/mileage tune. Like a 5000lb light tow tune and a 10k+ tow tune. The 2 remaining slots could be more hp/performance but I know that's just tempting. ha ha

Efi live tuning equals the least black soot of any other tune on the market. There are some hacks that make smoke tunes through efi live programming but any licensed tuner will advise against this. However, you will have some black smoke under wide open throttle.

I think I lied to you earlier, the scr is clamped/joined from the turbo down pipe just behind the bottom side of the engine and that section bolts to the DPF/Urea injection unit.

If it were my truck, it would all be coming off because the way I look at it these emissions are designed to keep your truck as reliable as possible. The truth is without the emissions, your truck will be even more reliable. Obviously, if you stack as much hp as possible with the tune it could then possibly infringe on the trucks longevity but I've got buddies that run 500-550 hp to the wheels in transportation businesses with 500k+ miles on the odometer and they rag those trucks out!

Oh well, now I have time to get the Rhinoliner done next week.

So, I will pick it up on Saturday.
