So far I have not had any sort of leak in my 07 - and my previous GM trucks were all leak free. I did have to replace a rear end cover gasket on my Nissan 4x4 Frontier that was seeping... but that was all.

Even though it was a older 350 block my 99 Z71 had 200k+ miles on it and never leaked a drop.

Never had a leak on my work vehicles 98 3500 454, 07 Duramax, 08 2500hd 6.0, another 07 Duramax or 2011 Chevy 3500HD LGH.

When I worked for the other Landscape company, we had 12 trucks with the 6.0 and none of them leaked. Last time I checked, one of those trucks was hitting 300k+ about a year ago and I just saw it on the road the other day. It never leaked.

I'll keep trying to find one that leaks... :jester:

My 93 k1500 at 225,000, 2010 Silverado at 100,000, and wife's 2008 Colorado at 75,000 all had no leaks of any kind.

I guess the consensus here would be to get it fixed and quit complaining. :jester:

Why can't GM make a truck that doesn't leak?

Time to trade it in on a new one! :wookie:

If I do it will be a Ram or the new 2015 F150.

That Ram diesel would probably tow the shit out of your boat.

If I'd have known the Ram was going to become my dd, I would have tried harder to scrape my pennies together to get an EcoDiesel. That would have been the best of both worlds for me.

As far as GM leaks, I have seen a few but they are WAY less common than Fords. Almost every higher mileage F-series I have been under (including my current work truck) has some sort of leaking fluid.
