Those new Ram EcoDiesels are flying off the lot.

Apparently, the pickup market agrees: The entire initial allocation of the oil-burners sold out in just three days earlier this month. That works out to more than 8,000 trucks sold between the afternoon of Feb. 7 and the morning of Feb. 10. Not too shabby.

If they had been out when I bought my truck in november, I might well have been one of the folks driving one. Not sure I would have been willing to go with a drivetrain that untested, but i would have thought long and hard about it.

...before anyone says it, I don't consider the switch to direct injection quite as big a jump as far as changes go on my current truck.
