About 5 am I got awakened by someone beating on my door and my dog barking. I hoped outta bed with my .45 thinking what the hell? I see a lady running down my driveway and I see smoke. Open the door and look at my neighbors truck and his 2001 F150 had 8-10 foot tall flames shooting through the hood! I turned around grabbed some shorts and shoes and hauled ass to my truck and grabbed my fire extinguisher. By that time my neighbor was outside with his hose and the guy behind me had my hose spraying it down... ran up and we used my extinguisher and it helped put out alot of the flames around the front. We got the fire out then!!! It literally took 20 mins for the fire department to show up... but we had it out and cooling down by the time they showed up.... our local dispatching center is a joke.

I am thankful his house did not burn down... it turned his fiberglass garage door brown and melted his soffet. Its a shame it caught fire... Dale is near his 80s and kept that thing imaculant.

Also lucky the lady driving by saw it and had the guts to stop and come running to the doors...

Heres a couple of pics!

Wonder if it was that master cylinder thing that they had problems causing fires years ago. Some wiring harness was replaced using a fused harness

There was a cruise control problem on those year models that would cause under hood fires.

We had an employee that this happened to. It was a excursion and it took the vehicle that was sitting next to it along with it.
