I would guess those are intended to save the painted surface should one nudge something with the bumper.

That, or that's where you hide your weed.

Not particularly, but it's not as bad as most. The "Tremor" decal could certainly disappear without me being upset.

I hate regular cab shortbed fullsize trucks, the worst looking bodystyle there is for fullsizes.

I didn't know they didn't put the 3.5 in regular cabs before.
