Did you do the conversion from KM/H to MPH? I couldn't tell what the final speed was with all the jumping around but the 120 that he started was in KM/H

120mph is probably not too far off. If you look at the needle position at the end when you can't read the numbers and compare it to earlier in the video where the numbers are visible it looks to be just under 200km/h.

120kmh is like 75mph. 120mph would have been 190ish kmh. I use to have several old VW's that had the European speedometers in them. People would freak out when they looked inside and thought they were seeing a US spec speedo
