Alright folks, I had an annoying little HVAC blower motor that wouldn't stop squeaking. Finally got fed up and ordered a new one off of amazon.

You will need:

- 7mm socket
- 7/32 socket
- a new blower motor
- beer

Start out by removing the plastic panel that covers the filters and blower motor. It should look like this:

Here it is removed. The circled holes are where the 7mm screws are. Undo those and the panel pops right out:

Once the panel is removed there will be another cover over the motor which is to the far right of the passenger side. This is removed by unscrewing the 2 7/32 screws that hold it in place. The back one was kind of a pain, but my patience won out. The cover looks like this(screw holes circled in red):

Once the cover is off, unhook the electrical plug and remove the motor by pushing down on the release tab and rotating it counterclockwise until it drops down and is free. The motor with the release tab circled:

Another of the motor:

The hole it dropped out of with the locations of the 7/32 cover screws circled:

Now chuck your old motor, grab the new one and install it by simply reversing the process.

I also decided to check my cabin filters since they were right there... glad I did:

Replaced those and buttoned everything up.

If you haven't been drinking beer throughout the process, crack one open right now and drink it while you stare in admiration of your handy work.
