Great writeup Kyle!

I have a couple questions about the swap.

Is there a difference in light output for the WLED-x-120 and WLED-x5 bulbs? The x-120 (120 is for the degree of light output) is $1.40 a bulb and the x5 is $4.14 a bulb (for green).
---I guess this is mainly for the instrument cluster lights, but I might go with the x-120 for all the ones you call the x5 for.

Which bulbs work best for the Dome Light? You list two different ones.

What are the rear Reading Lights?

In your video, you list the Driver's and Passenger light switches all using the -xHP bulbs, but in your list, only the Driver's door lock as being -xHP. Should I just go with all -xHP to be safe and make them match?

Also, slightly off topic, where did you find the 120mph Escalade cluster? All the ones I've found on eBay either go to 110mph or don't actually show the cluster.

Thanks!

Use the 120 degree WLED-x bulbs for the cluster. I used to have the WLED-x5 bulbs in my cluster, but I no longer recommend those. Not only are they more expensive, but they are also too bright IMO and leave a couple hotspots. The WLED-x are the perfect brightness IMO and light the cluster evenly.

4210-xHP6. I made that list when the 4210-xHP6 was only available in white, so I listed the 4410-x9 bulb in case you wanted a color instead.

What are the rear Reading Lights?
Are you talking about the one near the dome light? I have those listed, RL4410-xHP9. I'm not sure about the ones in the overhead console if you have one. I would guess that the WLED-xHP5 bulbs would work good for those...

Use all high power, even in the headlight switch.

eBay, I was fortunate to find a listing with an good pic of the actual cluster.

Try searching for these:
99 00 -01 -02 escalade cluster
99 00 -01 -02 denali cluster
00 tahoe limited cluster

That Tahoe Limited cluster looks good, but a bit pricey. I paid around $100 for mine shipped.

Here's the fixed list, could a mod paste this over post #8?

----

I made a list of most of the bulbs in the interior and what LEDs to replace them with. This list is for a 1995 Ex Cab with power everything, but most of this list should still apply for all 95+ GMT400 trucks. If I didn't list a light, I didn't replace it and don't know what will work. I only listed LEDs that I know from experience will fit, although SuperBrightLEDs sells many different kinds of bulbs that could also fit too. Use at your own risk.

Instrument Cluster Illumination
Six 194 bulbs and T3-1/4 sockets
Replace with WLED-x bulbs and new T3-1/4 sockets if needed

HVAC Controller Illumination
Four 74 bulbs and T1-1/2 sockets
Replace with T1.5-x bulbs

A/C and Recirculation Buttons
Two 74 bulbs and T1-1/2 sockets
Replace with T1.5-x bulbs

Dome Light
One 42mm x 10mm Festoon bulb
Replace with a 4210-xHP (Festoon) bulb

Dome Reading Lights (NOT the overhead console lights)
Two 44mm x 10mm Rigid Loop bulbs
Replace with RL4410-xHP9 (Rigid Loop) bulbs

Courtesy Floor Lights
Two 194 bulbs
Replace with WLED-x6 bulbs

Door Lights
Two 194 bulbs
Replace with WLED-x5 bulbs (some minor trimming required)

Glovebox Light
One 194 bulb
Replace with a WLED-x5 bulb (removing the metal bulb shield will help output)

Ashtray Light
One 194 bulb
Replace with a WLED-x6 bulb

Headlight Switch
One 4mm Neo-Wedge bulb
Replace with a NEO4-xHP bulb

Driver Side Power Windows & Locks Switch
One 4mm Neo-Wedge bulb and one 3mm Neo-Wedge bulb
Replace with a NEO4-xHP bulb and a NEO3-xHP bulb
(IMPORTANT! You must use the High Power 3mm bulb, the ordinary 3mm bulb is too tall to fit)

Passenger Side Power Windows & Locks Switch
One 4mm Neo-Wedge bulb
Replace with a NEO4-xHP bulb

Thank you!!!

Yeah, that Tahoe Limited one is pretty spendy, but nice.
From the pic, this one goes up to 120mph too (it is marked for 180km/hr just like yours is). But I just found that the 110 one also is marked for 180km.
This one shows it going to 120.

Wow, there's $100 difference between the normal cluster (100mph 5,000rpm) and the Escalade (120mph 6,000rpm).

Oh, I missed this earlier:

Besides the cluster, stick with the WLED-x5 bulbs everywhere else.

I've seen the 110mph cluster you are talking about (don't ask me where it comes from), but I don't think it uses the thin white "Escalade" needles. I think it still has white needles, but they are shaped like the fatter needles you have now.

OK, will do. That's only 3 bulbs so that won't be all that bad.

And thanks for updating your list too!

Here's that 110mph cluster you were talking about:

SAM_0993.jpg

Looks just like a stock cluster, but it goes to 110mph, has a missing hash-mark at 105, and says MILES next to the odometer. Also, is just me or do the hash-marks (especially on the smaller gauges) look kinda screwy?

Yeah, the marks are screwy. And I don't know why it says MILES. Not sure why its missing the 105 mark.
