Race weekend!

Day 1 didn't have much of a turn out, so I was racing against the V8s and modifieds...

Came in last in the drags... Would've tied the F150 if my truck was running right :lol:

I was still ahead of his back bumper, and I was NOT in 4LO... Everyone else was...

I can't run in 4LO because of my shifting issues.

I got 2nd place in the slalom, though!

Though... The reason I got 2nd was because one guy rolled... No injuries though! :thumbs:

As long as there's some V6s and 4 bangers tomorrow, I'll have a chance at placing :thumbs:

You need a helmet and a neck brace... I had to borrow James' helmet, and one of the guys was lending out a neck brace, so you'd be covered there...

I'm not sure if entry fee is still $60 if it's just for the one day :dunno:

I didn't place in the drags at all today... There was an extra truck, so I got 4th instead of 3rd :lol:

I got "1st" in the slalom... Because I was the only stock truck running there...
My best lap was 8.5 seconds slower than the fastest pro-stock truck...

I'd be 5 - 7 seconds faster if I didn't have to slow down for the jumps!

Damn family sh8! I shoudla been there! The buggy that rolled was the head guy that was puttin this shindig on. Its a 78(iirc) bronco frame with a built 351ci.Gonna try n get rig built for next races....88 s10 Blazer2.8L auto....dont think ill slow down for jumps though:thumbs:
