Hey guys, I figured you GMC guy's here could help me. My Fiance just picked up her 2010 GMC Terrain tonight. I really want to get a set of inlay's for the GMC on front and back of Terrain.
Who do you guys go through. Can you order them through Patriot Decals? I didn't see anything on their site. And I know they got banned from making Ford, didn't know about GMC.
Would like Black to cover the red in the GMC label.
Thanks guys

Oh! I think I just figured out what you're asking for..
You want to make the red letters black in the GMC emblems?
I think most of the guys on here who have done that paint them. Check around on here. I'm pretty sure some guys have posted threads about painting their emblems.

Mark I'm not sure how the GMC guys are doing it but us Chevy guys have been painting them.

to give you guys a better visual, this is how I did my ford.. now just a black over the red on the GMC.. The fiance would not let me paint her GMC.. I'm pretty sure.. Hell, she won't even let me drive it.

**On a side note... She has had the vehicle for 3 hours and already had to call OnStar to have the doors unlocked because she locked keys inside!

That's too funny about Onstar.

The emblem is removable, if that alleviates her fears any.. You take the emblem off, do the prep work, paint it, etc, etc.. put it back on. Done.
Like I said, I know there are some write-ups on it. I never did it to mine, so I didn't pay a lot of attention to the step-by-step, but I'm sure there are some write-ups on here.

Yeah.. and the problem was, the salesman said, put the number in your phone incase you lock your keys in it, and put the sticker on the window just incase you dont have the number on you... she failed to do both, so had to look up the number to the dealer (10min before they close) and go ahold of OnStar
-- She was just like... "I was just showing you how OnStar can unlock the car"

Last time I locked my keys in a vehicle was fall of 1990. I had just taken delivery of my new truck and went to eat, I'll be damned if I didn't lock my keys in it. Locksmith charged me $50, man was I pissed too. Hopefully she is enjoying the new ride at least.

Oh she is def enjoying it. I mean she has only driven it 10 miles, but has been waiting for it for the past 9 weeks. Heck, she won't even let me sit in the driver seat haha

I'll give a big thumbs up to matt at Reflective concepts, he sure does good work, I have purchased several simple decals, and some more complex and detailed ones, and they're always perfect.

Painted mine...then I bought some paint that was a closer match so I'm getting ready to paint them again. Will post pics when complete.

I'd remove any emblems that were removable and paint the grille emblem if it were mine...
