single pit. They tied it in with the local fair. So some of the people that usually dont see these trucks got to see em.. and might get interested.

yeah it was.. they dug it out on friday.. and filled it with water... the fair made it hard to what they wanted to it. there was a nasty hump in the beginning but after that it was smooth... pretty much a muddy water pit. but hey.. racing against the clock is racin. lol.

why didnt you come enter your truck? :jester:

in all reality.. if i had a racing truck i wouldnt of driven that hole.. it was too narrow... as you saw with the truck above.. wrong bounce and its all over.

i really want to.. but i love the prostreet. its a damn sweet runnin truck. plus to change.. i would need an HD truck and big construction trailer to haul around a mud truck.. more cash than i got right now to spend. :dunno:

i want to soooo bad. you dont even know....

its just damn pricey. Gotta get a dana 60 axle... gotta convert the rear dana 60 to 8 lug... the SFA kit is about 700 bucks.. plus id be upgrading the steering. Stablizers... and id need a new transfer case.. and figure out a way to run a shifter for the t case inside the truck. since mine is AUTO 4wd. new driveshafts... etc etc.

It needs a new transfer case because of the guys that have done the swaps.. apparently they burn up if youve got the auto 4wd.

heres a build list this guy did.. shows whats all into it. ALOT of money and work.

this is a great writeup.

yeah.. im at a point where i just dont know what i want to do. SOO many choices on the table. I really dont wanna cut my big truck up into a mud truck... which would happen if i straight axled it... cause then it would be tough enough to beat on...

i just dont know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F... lol.

I run a stock 1998 Dakota with a 318 in the mud bogs here....Paid $2000 for it. Filled the engine with water once and its still running.... you dont need to spend BIG money to have big fun.

On a side note the engine does need to be replaced now.....had some oil pressure loss issues. Gonna take it to the mud bogs in the spring....gotta replace the engine anyway so run er till she pops. gotta pay to play right?
