I just installed the brake booster and master cylinder. I'm ready to pull my hair out. Here is some history. I have narcolepsy and fibromyalgia. I am also raising my 3 year old granddaughter. This equates to - fixed income, limited funds and limited time. I am an artist and I work ib all kinds of media and materials. The work I can accomplish on the truck usually directly relates to a sale of some piece of art or custom item. When I took the master cylinder off, the flare nuts were fused to the line and twisted. When i tried to remove the lines to match them and the necessary adaptors, one of the nuts stripped off at the metering block. This made it necessary to remove the metering block in order to have room to get a vise grip on it. Guess what, the last line, going to the passenger front stripped too! So there's three lines I must replace. We're talking less than $50.00 but that is a chunk in my situation and enough to delay the repair for a few weeks! Arrgh!

Anyway. Just had to vent.
